I sat in the AIS-2000 and the 3 person sauna at a tradeshow yesterday in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. They had a "show" special at $3,499 and $3,999 for the 2 and 3 man respectively (which included shipping). The heaters were large and felt great on my back. Neither sauna felt "closed in," but for $500 more I would go with the larger of the two.

I bought a Therasauna on ebay, but never received it (I got my money back), but my wife said "NO TO INFRARED SAUNA" because we already had a sauna in our new house. After sitting in a sauna, she had a change of heart in that (how do we get rid of our sauna and put in an infrared in its place?

There are no knots in the wood (ceder) It is glued together (which I heard can be bad from other sites). The emitters were encapsulated with suade so they never are hot to the touch (I always wondered about that). It was a great 5 minute experience and hopefully we will buy one down the road, But stay away from ebay...you never know what you are going to get!!!

I do like the lifetime guarantee on everything except the lightbulbs.
Been around for 6 years, but the original developer was part of Healthmate since 25 years ago.

If I think of anything else I will post another comment.
