Infrared sauna review: QCA Spas Two Person TheraSauna

This review will be about a 2-person infrared sauna model by QCA Spas who are selling saunas under TheraSauna brand. While spas are the main product of QCA Spas they also provide a line of infrared saunas.

Here are the main details about a two-person TheraSauna model:

Wood: Sitka spruce or aspen. There is no wood type mentioned on Thera Sauna website, it only says that wood is ‘non-toxic’. It is the data from some other site that it is white sitka/aspen wood.

External dimensions: Width: 51 in, Depth: 46 3/4 in, Height: 72 in.

Internal dimensions: Width: 46 in, Depth: 38 in, Height: 68 in.

Weight: 294 lbs.

Heaters: 10 ceramic heaters (TheraMitter), on the back, under the bench and on the front.

Outlets: 120 V, 20 Amps.

Accessories: Stereo speakers.

Warranty: Heaters – lifetime, cabinetry/electricity – no information found.

Price: $5,095 MSRP, but several online shops sell it at approx. $3700 price.

This TheraSauna model has a ventilation window. The bench is solid and is 18 1/2 inches in depth.

From all points of view this 2-person infrared sauna model looks like an ordinary infrared sauna room to me. It has all necessary details but don’t have any features that makes it better than other models (possibly wood but the lack of information on the official website makes it hard to guess). Also I want to note that the official TheraSauna website is very poor with information and sometimes even has controversial data (necessary outlet amperage for instance).

I found no downloadable manual but only this assembly images on a TheraSauna website.
