The guy on Oprah talked about both weight loss and detoxification. Anyone pushing these saunas for weight loss should include a bottle of snake oil with each purchase. I expect any significant weight loss is session by session with water loss. It comes right back when you replenish with fluids, as you should. As for detoxification, I'm no scientist but it makes sense to me and apparently makes sense to some who should know.
